Disaster Strikes!
On the evening of June 22nd, an EF3 tornado tore through Coal City and through the SW corner of Braidwood, IL. The photos below (all taken by Eva R.) show the damage in Braidwood, and the workers helping to clean the mess.

Special thank you to ComEd/Exelon, State Farm Insurance, American Family Insurance, other related companies, the firefighters and paramedics from various counties, and everyone in the surrounding communities coming to clean up in Coal City and in Braidwood.

Megan Bugg (13), a pretty, young lady in Coal City, IL was diagnosed with malignant tumors just after Christmas 2014. She began chemo therapy in January 2015.
Please join Megan in her fight against stage 4 Alveolar Rhabdomyosarcoma.

*Even though the chemo has been causing discomfort, Megan has hundreds of
loving people at her side to cheer her on. She is a strong fighter too.
*Her family and close friends thank the "friends around the world" for their support
and joining #TeamMegan.
*April 25th was the 113th day during Megan's fight against her cancer.
On April 25th, she had her 7th round of chemo therapy. Go Megan!
